Chicken Masala Briyani Recipe

 

Rice is a very important part of our food. We can easily say that it is very necessary like grain. We use rice in many forms wild white rice, brown rice. Wild rice contains vitamin E vitamin B.

Biryani is an especial item of every occasion in Asia. We can easily say that there is nothing any party, occasion, gathering, even a family dinner without briyani. There are many types of briyani like sindhi briyani, masala briyani, Bombay briyani, tikka briyani, mutton briyani. Here is the recipe of chicken Masala briyani.

Chicken Masala Briyani Recipe

Ingredients:

Serve for 4-6 People

Preparation Time 1 and Half Hour

  • Rice: 1kg
  • Chicken: 1kg
  • Onion: 1kg
  • Ginger garlic paste: 10 tbsp
  • Red chili powder: 2tbsp
  • Gram Masala powder: 1tbsp
  • Pounded chili: 1tbsp
  • Black paper powder: 1\2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder: 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder: 5 tbsp (full)
  • Salt to taste
  • Bay leaves 2
  • Cumin seed: 1 tbsp
  • Badyan powder: 1\2 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1 pao
  • Tomatoes: 6 large
  • Oil: 1 cup
  • Prunello (allobukhara): 7,8
  • Condiments: 2
  • Green cardamom: 2
  • Brown cardamom: 3
  • Cloves: 3
  • Cinnamon stick: 2
  • Essence: 1 drop
  • For layers
  • Mint leaves a bunch
  • Lemon  1
  • Yellow food color: ½ tbsp in each layer
  • Nutmeg mace powder: ½ tbsp

Method:

Soak rice for 20 minutes. Fry onions till they get golden brown take out them spread them on a paper after crispy grind them. Fry ginger garlic paste until smell has removed now add all condiments fry for awhile. Now add chicken fry it now add yogurt grind onion prunello tomatoes cook till chicken tender properly now added badyan powder nutmeg & mace powder essence and remove from stove.

Put rice in a large pan and boil them add few leaves of mint condiments 1 lemon juice. When rice half boiled throw water.

Layers:

Divide rice and chicken into three parts. Now in other large vessel spread on layer of rice and put one part of chicken, sprinkle food color mint leaves green chilies, lemon slice do same twice more and on lower blaze steam rice 20 minutes.
